After stumbling into the industry, I found I loved the work and attended the local M-tech. During the 2 year program, I became certied by the EPA and RMGA (Rocky Mountain Gas Association). After one year, I became nationally certied by N.A.T.E. (North American Technicians of Excellence), and attended HVAC trainings across the country. After a few more years, I met my wife in the industry; shortly after, the locally owned company we both worked for was bought out by an out of state corporation. That is when I discovered that other locally owned businesses had also gone corporate. It was then my wife and I decided to open our own HVAC business to offer local quality work at an affordable price.
